Rebecca Kearns (Martin)

Rebecca Kearns Martin, 62, was called to heaven on October 29, 2015. She leaves behind to mourn, her husband of almost 40 years, Robert; four children, Charles, Kelly, Jenny Rebecca, and Gerard; her granddaughter, Mariah; and her daughter-in-law, Nicole. She was predeceased by her mother, Rosemarie Kearns; brothers, Nick and Paul Kearns; a sister, Theresa Thomas; brother-in-law, Mark Comstock; and nephews, Will Kearns and Randall Irwin. Rebecca is survived by her father, William P. Kearns; sisters, Kathleen (Randall) Irwin, and Mariclaire Comstock; brothers, William, Frank (Annmarie), Joseph, Jack, and Gerard; and her many Godchildren, nieces, nephews, and lifelong best friends, Honeybun (Edith Miller), and Kim Grandusky. Becky was born November 7, 1952, in Paterson, New Jersey, and later moved to Florida, with her family, and created her life and legacy. She was the greatest mother, happiest gramma, best friend, and most fierce ally in a world of billions. She is the embodiment of unconditional love and loved God with all of her huge heart. Rebecca spent her life as a housewife, homemaker, and caretaker for children and the elderly. As a daughter, sister, mother, and friend, she created the fondest memories full of love and laughter that will live forever. Her family is honored to have been blessed with her and we look forward to our heavenly reunion. To honor our queen mama, friends will be received on Friday, November 6, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Scripture service at NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME, 5608 Broadway, West Palm Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Becky's 63rd Birthday, November 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church, North Palm Beach, with Rev. Fr. William D. O'Shea presiding.
